Emperor s/n 58052 : pictures

The museum purchased the instrument in September 2009 online from Joe Vinikow of archtopcom. According to Joe the instrument came from a  California collection. The guitar came in an 18″ brown Lifton case. Former owner Leo Carson from San Diego wrote us January 2014:

“I sold this guitar via Joe Vinikow some years ago to you.  He mentioned that it went to the Netherlands and I am happy to see it in such good hands.  It came from a small shop called Ax-in-Hand in DeKalb, IL. The instrument had a refret July 2006 by Fred Marotta of The Repair Zone, San Diego, CA.” (see picture below)
